Neptronic Edge Micro PLC Controller with Optional HMI. The Edge Micro PLC provides 10 inputs and 10 outputs, BACnet/IP, BACnet MSTP, Modbus RTU and TCP/IP communication capabilities and up to 4 RS485 port for external integration of peripherals such as fans, VFD’s, VAV, power meters and so on. It integrates with Automation Systems, Neptronic IMS and other centralized or cloud-based management platforms. It also features expansion slots that allow connectivity on Modbus or CAN bus to expand the IO’s.
For applications requiring a local operator interface, Edge Micro can be paired with the fully programmable Micro HMI. Custom screens can display information specific to the equipment such as points, alarms, schedules, setpoints and operating information required for each application.
The MicroHMI is a powerful, fully standalone solution that integrates seamlessly with any BACnet controller or equipment. With built-in sensors, PLC functionality, and the freedom to create a fully customized user interface, it offers nearly limitless possibilities. Designed for maximum flexibility, the MicroHMI can be added directly into the Edge Micro, installed ion a control-panel door, or wall-mounted, giving you the freedom to deploy it wherever your application requires.
Configure your database and object list with our Edge Configuration Tool installed on your PC for offline setups or by connecting to an Edge Integrator for remotely managed installations. Then build control sequences in whichever language your team already knows: Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Instruction List, or Structured Text with open-source software OpenPLC. Design custom Ui for the HMI using the open-source EEZ Studio platform and our widgets library, creating a seamless transition from sequence design to operator interaction. Then use our software to remotely push your programs and Ui to the controllers.
